The Royal Easter Show opens here in Sydney today, something we've been looking forward to if for no other reason than we get to see retired greyhounds! We set out this morning after a breakfast on the run to master the train system in Sydney to get ourselves to Homebush where the show is being held. What we found was huge, on the scale of state fair.

We also dedicate this to the wonderful volunteers of GAP of NSW who allowed us to get to meet their dogs. |

With dragging heels we left our new greyt friends and take the train back to downtown Sydney. Stavros insisted on dinner at a pseudo-chic restaurant by the hotel by the name of Macchiato, where he wanted the Atlantic pizza. Uninspired fare that was. There was a very pleasant singer singing old jazz standbys there, but... For g*dsakes the phrase "x, y, and ZEE of it" is what rhymes with "the mystery of it." NOT "x, y and ZED of it.!" That rhymes with "the Mister ED of it." |
