A very leisurely start to a beautiful day started with another fine breakfast at the Fountain Café, which by the way was way out of our way for our planned excursion to the Taronga Zoo. We eventually reached the Circular Quay about noon and ferried across the harbor to the zoo. 12 minutes from boarding to the zoo. Did I say it was a beautiful day?

Dinner was at Jordons Restaurant at Harbourside, which is a really really nice establishment. We got their deluxe seafood platter, and it was excellent. It had jumbo prawn, lobster, crab, a couple of types of bugs (another type of crayfish), mussels, a couple of different types of oysters, am I forgetting something or two? Tom left all the raw oyster thingies for poor Stavros to eat. How poor Stavros suffered. |
