Our first Monday in Sydney we started out with breakfast at the new old-standby Fountain Café, then went and explored the sights around Darling Harbour including the Chinese Friendship Garden. Then up to the Sydney Opera House and climbed her steps and finally back down through the Royal Botanic Gardens. Then we ran to Wentworth Park to the greyhound track for a few races - neither of us had ever seen these magnificent athletes run before! (We really needed a greyhound fix and fortunately got to scritch the ears of a pretty brindle girl named Brin).

It was late as we left the greyhound track so we were forced to resort to stepping into a place that we happened to be walking by, a sort of Mom and Pop type place. The Little Siam Thai Restaurant turned out to be exceptional and I would recommend it as being superior to every other Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. |
